Shannondale Senior Living Community recently announced Scott Phillips as its new CEO as part of ongoing restructuring efforts. Phillips will lead the continuing care retirement community, which has locations in Knoxville and Maryville, as it restructures to reflect a changing environment for elder care.

Phillips has over 40 years of experience as an executive in the healthcare industry and as a consultant to healthcare providers of all types of care, ranging from university hospitals to assisted living & skilled nursing communities.

Shannondale’s restructuring efforts will focus on adjusting community pricing to the current market, raising nursing staff pay to be competitive and market reflective, and adjusting staffing to match a reduction in occupancy in certain facilities. Shannondale’s priority remains to offer high-quality care to the retirement community allowing residents to age in comfort and peace.

If you have questions related to the restructuring, please send an email with your questions to AskUs@ShannondaleTN.org and someone from the Shannondale team will respond.
